Seriously, though. Who decided that working from 8 am to 5 pm 5 days a week was normal?
You know that phrase where people will say I live to eat or I eat to live? You all know which phrase I use. I will never live to work. I will work to live as little as possible. Not because I am not excited about my profession. I think occupational therapy is fantastic. But because I don't want my life to be my work. That will be a significant part of who I am, but it will not be the role I primarily identify with. Obviously I have never worked a day in my life.
Anyways, 3 days into my fieldwork. I am loving the occupational therapists that I am working with. I am not sure if this setting is my passion, though. I'll let you know in about 90 days.
Right now.
I'm thinking that I would like to retire.
Also, who said being a responsible adult was fun? I'm fine with being an adult. But why does it have to be unacceptable to be irresponsible?
